With over 50 years of experience, Yachten Meltl is one of Europe's most renowned yacht centers. Its roots go back to 1969, when Josef Meltl transformed a small rowing boat rental on Lake Chiemsee into one of Europe's first yacht charter addresses. Soon after, he entered yacht sales – and through his involvement in Bavaria Yachtbau GmbH, a partnership emerged that made Bavaria Yachts one of the world's largest yacht providers.
From this rich history, a company developed that is now one of the leading contacts for yacht purchases, yacht services, and yacht investments in Europe.

What once began with small sailboats is now a modern yacht center with a broad range of services.
In the large showroom in Bernau am Chiemsee, 7-8 yachts between 28 and 48 feet are available for viewing all year round. Here, prospective buyers can compare and explore various models – at their leisure, in style, and without trade fair stress.
