Where can I view the yachts and how does the handover process work?
Our headquarters are located in Bernau am Chiemsee, where we look forward to welcoming you for a personal consultation. Depending on the model and season, we organize viewings for you directly at our Nautic Alliance partner bases, at leading water sports trade fairs (such as boot Düsseldorf), or directly from the shipyard. The delivery and professional handover of your yacht takes place according to your desired region in the Baltic Sea, the Mediterranean (e.g., Croatia), or other countries such as Greece, Turkey, or Mallorca.
Is a trade-in of my current yacht possible when buying a new yacht?
No, we do not offer this option. However, we are happy to refer you to partners in a high-traffic used boat sector and use our Europe-wide network to help you find a buyer quickly.
Can I also buy ready-to-sail display boats or stock yachts directly from Yachten Meltl?
Yes, we regularly offer exclusive opportunities to purchase immediately available display boats as well as boat show models from our partner brands such as Bavaria and Dufour. These yachts are usually superbly equipped, have been meticulously maintained by us, and are available to you without the usual shipyard lead times. With attractive special conditions during clearance sales, you can secure an as-new yacht with a noticeable price advantage compared to an individually ordered new build.

A small number of selected partners share ownership of a high-quality sailing yacht or catamaran. We take care of the entire legal structuring for you, the fair allocation of usage times, and professional management including maintenance and berth administration. You enjoy all the benefits of ownership while sharing the acquisition and ongoing operating costs on a pro-rata basis.

Yes, that’s one of our absolute highlights. In our modern yacht center on Lake Chiemsee (Bernau), we have one of the largest and most modern indoor showrooms in the German-speaking region. You can step aboard the yachts at your leisure, experience the space concepts live, and check the material quality up close.

Our yacht center is far more than just an exhibition space – it’s a place of experience for watersports enthusiasts. During a personal consultation appointment, we take plenty of time for you. In addition to viewing the yachts in the indoor showroom, we plan your dream yacht detail by detail together with you. You also benefit from our close partnerships with top shipyards such as Bavaria Yachts, Dufour Yachts, Nautitech catamarans and Bente Yachts. Where exactly is the yacht center located, and is it worth traveling further?
Our yacht center is extremely convenient for transport, located right off the A8 motorway (Munich–Salzburg) in Bernau am Chiemsee. Thanks to this strategic location in southern Germany, we are easy and quick to reach from the greater Munich area as well as from Austria (e.g. Salzburg, Kufstein, Innsbruck) and Switzerland. A visit is definitely worth it: nowhere else in the south will you find such a high density of displayed new yachts from renowned brands indoors, combined with the concentrated expertise of our shipyard-trained technicians right on site.
